The two parties agreed that they should deepen mutual exchanges, share resources and complement each other's advantages so as to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Wang gave a summary of POWERCHINA's international businesses, overseas strategies and their business in Australia.

He pointed out that China and Australia have maintained good relationships in the past. Therefore, POWERCHINA and Victorian government should further enhance mutual trust, seek common development and strengthen collaborations.

Wang said that POWERCHINA has attached great importance to the operation and development of high-end markets such as Australia. Australia's standardized, mature and stable market environment provides an ideal platform for the company's transformation and upgrading.

He added that POWERCHINA will increase investment in Australian market, seek cooperation with local companies and explore more ways to participate in project construction, while Lily D'Ambrosio commended POWERCHINA for its achievements in international business.

Furthermore, she introduced Victoria's electric power development and its goals of renewable energy, power grids and micro grids.

She also explained Victoria's recent bidding plan for energy projects. She said that Victoria's development of renewable energy and infrastructure construction is in full swing and there are plenty of business opportunities.

She hoped that POWERCHINA could use its advantages and take an active part in the construction of those projects so that the two sides would live up to their ambitions for a win-win collaboration.
