After inspecting the power station, Sisoulith visited the nearest resettlement village-Huilou village, which was completed in September 2017.

In the village, Sisoulith watched video reports of resettlement projects and inspected the local residents' livelihood. According to Sisoulith, the hydropower project invested by a Chinese company has played a significant role in providing electricity for economic and social development, reducing soil erosion and floods, improving infrastructure and building beautiful new villages. It also helps build hospitals, temples and schools, greatly improving public service conditions, including education and medical care.
