POWERCHINA's volunteer service photos and display boards attracted a lot of attention from visitors during the event. POWERCHINA's report on sustainable development and bookmarks by overseas volunteers also became hot sellers as they improved the company's image and promoted a good cause.

In addition, POWERCHINA's support for the Belt and Road Initiative, sustainable overseas development and experiences in foreign countries won the company much respect from global experts at a sub-forum of the event.

The company was also invited to serve as a representative for overseas Chinese volunteers and give a speech at the award ceremony, which helped raise awareness about POWERCHINA's volunteer activities.

POWERCHINA has attached great importance to the implementation of corporate social responsibility in foreign countries. It was the first SOE to found a professional overseas volunteer association, and it has now established six regional associations. Since 2017, these associations have organized various volunteer activities, with their total combined service time topping 12,800 hours and total contributions amounting to $294,700.
