As an atypical water surface PV project, the project is the largest PV power plant in Southeast Asia and is also the world's largest semi-immersed PV project.

It is a landmark project for cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam in the field of new energy, which has been highly valued by the governments of both countries from the very beginning of the project's construction.
