The POWERCHINA project department of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway received a commendatory letter from the management committee of the project's consortium Jan 2, for its outstanding performance during the construction.

In 2019, the project department completed the various construction tasks with good quality and quantity, and won first place in the credit evaluation of the second half of the project.
In face of the difficulties in the complex site environment and poor geological conditions, it also carefully organized all the 20 points in the pipe section to start construction, acquiring the China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) product certification at the No 2 beam yard along the railway for the first time.

The construction of the No 17 Bridge across the Citarum River in Indonesia is progressing smoothly, overcoming unfavorable conditions such as poor paddy field geology and turbulent water flow in the main channel.
In addition, the project department maintained safe and orderly progress in the construction of No 2, No 3 and No 4 tunnels, and accumulated a series of important construction achievements such as 1,364 square meters of excavation.

The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway is the first high-speed railway in Indonesia, and in Southeast Asia. It will shorten the travel time between the two cities to about 40 minutes from over three hours, and form an economic corridor along the way.
