The Phu My solar power project is located in Binh Dinh province, Vietnam, covering about 300 hectares. It is divided into two phases – 120MW and 210MW, which will be developed simultaneously. It is currently the largest-scale power project planned in Binh Dinh province.

After completion, it will become one of the top five solar power projects in Vietnam for installed capacity.

The contract includes the design, procurement and general contracting of construction for the project and supporting facilities. It will further consolidate the strategic relationship between POWERCHINA and Vietnam and lay a solid foundation for subsequent cooperation.

As of April 2020, POWERCHINA has completed more than 70 power projects of various types in Vietnam, with the installed capacity of these developments accounting for about 65 percent of Vietnam's total installed capacity.

The installed capability of new energy projects is nearly 3,000MW, covering onshore wind power, offshore wind power, ground solar power, floating solar power and biomass power generation.

In the future, POWERCHINA will continue to contribute to Vietnam's economic development.
