POWERCHINA's Hangzhou infrastructure project passes acceptance

The Linhong East Road project of the Dajiangdong Infrastructure Project in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, which was undertaken by POWERCHINA Roadbridge Group Co Ltd, successfully passed the handover and acceptance inspection on Sept 23.

More than 50 people from relevant departments, such as the construction bureau, finance bureau, economic development bureau, and natural resource bureau of Qiantang New Area, Hangzhou, as well as project companies, supervision units, survey units, design units, and construction general contracting departments participated in the acceptance inspection.

The members of the acceptance team inspected the construction site, examined the acceptance documents of the project, and conducted discussions. They agreed that the quality of project was qualified, the supporting facilities were complete, and the design requirements were met.

Linhong East Road has a total length of 4.52 kilometers and a design speed of 60 km per hour for the entire line. It adopts the first-class highway and urban road function. The project is the last road in the first phase of the nine road sub-projects of the Hangzhou Dajiangdong Infrastructure PPP+EPC Project.

PPP+EPC is a mode in which the contractor is involved in the project through investment and financing, as well as implements general contracting projects like design, construction, and procurement.

The completion of the acceptance inspection indicated that the construction of the Hangzhou Dajiangdong Project has achieved phased results, laying a soling foundation for the follow-up phase II and III.

The good performance capability of the company has further strengthened the trust and support of local governments in the construction of roads and bridges by POWERCHINA Roadbridge Group Co Ltd, as well as created favorable conditions for opening up regional markets.
