An express delivery loaded with large supplies arrived at Islamabad International Airport in Pakistan on Oct 10 and was then sent to the Karot Hydropower Station Project Department of the Sinohydro Bureau 7 Co Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of POWERCHINA.
A number of goods and materials, such as daily necessities and medicine, as well as care packages from family members have been delivered to the project's employees who have been working overseas for a long time and whose normal vacation plans were disrupted by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.
After finalizing the flight for the express delivery, the family members of the employees uniformly mailed materials to the designated location in Chengdu, Sichuan province. The packages were then sent to Pakistan by a manned charter flight. The company's employee volunteers sorted and checked nearly 300 packages, as well as re-marked and packed them to the airport.
