POWERCHINA Middle East & North Africa (hereafter referred to as POWERCHINA MENA) has 20 countries under its management (including 6 GCC countries, 6 North African countries and other 8 countries), with a total of 30,227 employees. At present, it has 57 projects under construction with a total contract value of US$17.6 billion in 13 countries in the MENA region. In 2021, POWERCHINA MENA completed US$2.7 billion in revenue and signed US$5.8 billion in new contracts.
According to the 2022 U.S. Engineering News Record (ENR) ranking of international contractors in the Middle East region, POWERCHINA is the only Chinese company in the top 10 in the Middle East for six consecutive years and ranked first among Chinese companies for six consecutive years. POWERCHINA ranked 10th in 2017 which was the only Chinese company in the top 10, and it ranked 6th for three consecutive years in 2018, 2019 and 2020, and it ranked 2nd in 2021, ranked 1st in 2022.
