Iraqi media interviews an employee of POWERCHINA.
A delegation of owners from the Iraq Model School Project Department and a media team, comprising Iraq State TV and Missan province TV, visited the management department of the project and made a special report.
During the visit, the delegation expressed deep appreciation for the project's progress, quality, and safety standards. The group thanked POWERCHINA for its hard work and dedication.
A video and article titled "Chinese Company Constructs 52 Schools in Missan Province" introduced the department and showcased POWERCHINA's efforts in post-war reconstruction and improvement projects in Iraq.
The 52 schools comprise 24 schools in Amarah's city center and an additional 28 in its surrounding vicinity, with a significant impact on Missan Province's educational infrastructure and communities.
To date, POWERCHINA has built over 1,000 schools in Iraq.
Since the project's management department arrived in Amarah in January 2022, they have faced considerable challenges while working on the project, including dust storms, extreme heat, and heavy rains. Despite these hurdles, they did not give up and persevered. Construction has progressed positively, and the concrete foundations for all 52 land parcels have been completed thus far.
This special report is recognition of the project's construction achievements. It is also affirmation of POWERCHINA's achievements and hard work. POWERCHINA will continue to contribute itself to the Belt and Road Initiative.
