An exchange and exhibition event entitled "Chinese Culture Hour" was jointly held by POWERCHINA and COMSATS University in Islamabad, Pakistan on June 9, providing a stage for students to showcase their knowledge of Chinese culture, including calligraphy, tai chi, kung fu, cuisine, tongue twisters, and music.
On that day, students displayed the charm of Chinese calligraphy, not only showing the elegance of Chinese characters but also explaining the meaning behind each character to the audience. The tai chi and kung fu performances showcased the essence of traditional Chinese martial arts, with students displaying excellent bodily control and elegant movements that enthralled the audience.
Delicious Chinese cuisine such as spicy chicken, dumplings, fried noodles, and fried rice were displayed in the food exhibition area, showcasing the students' exquisite cooking skills while also incorporating local cuisine.
In addition, tongue twisters and music performances added a sense of joy and energy to the event, showcasing the diverse charm of Chinese culture.
The company representatives highly praised the performances by the students and presented commendation certificates to students who gave particularly outstanding performances.
They also presented a selection of Chinese culture-related books to the students to further support the school's Chinese cultural education efforts and provide students with more learning resources and inspiration to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture.
After the event, the representatives and the school held an in-depth discussion on cross-cultural communication, shared their insights and experiences, and reached a consensus on further strengthening cooperation in the future.
