The Olympic Village Housing Construction Project is located in Brazzaville, capital of the Republic of the Congo, approximately 4.5 kilometers away from the newly built sports center.
The project consists of six athlete apartments with a total built-up area of 111,891.6 square meters. The buildings each have three stories above ground, with some areas having four stories, and the building height is 17 meters, with some sections reaching 20 meters. The structure uses a frame design.
Construction officially commenced in September 2013 and was completed on Aug 25, 2015.
The project was set to provide resting services for African athletes participating in the All-Africa Games. It is an important component of the overall planning of the Republic of the Congo Olympic Sports Center and serves as a showcase for the nation's achievements in construction.
