Algeria Nine Concrete Grain Silo Projects

Nine concrete grain silo sites are located in the eastern, central, and western regions of Algeria. The storage capacities of the silos are categorized into two levels, 30,000 metric tons and 50,000 tons, with a total designed grain storage capacity of 350,000 tons.

The total height of the buildings is 54 meters, and the grain storage height is 40 meters, with a total built-up area of 80,000 square meters.

Work on the silos commenced in February 2014, and all silos were put into operation in May 2019.

Featuring advanced technology and stable equipment operation, the silos have played a crucial role in enhancing Algeria's grain storage capacity and effectively alleviating the recent grain storage shortages, ensured the effective supply and price stability of Algeria's main cereal crops.

The silos have received high praise and commendation from the country's government departments.
