A delegation led by Congolese Prime Minister Bruno Tshibala visited the under-construction Goma stadiumin the Republic of Congo on Aug 21, 2018.

The prime minister inspected the working, living and processing areas in order to better understand the project scale, progress, and functions.

Tshibala praised the quality construction and praised the construction workers' efforts. "I hope that all parties can work together to ensure the timely completion of the project," he said.

Meanwhile, Tshibala stressed the importance of preventing pandemic viruses and guaranteeing a safe construction environment.

Goma city, located in eastern Congo, enjoys a cool climate with no rain in August, providing an ideal construction environment. Although the country is affected by the Ebola outbreak, POWERCHINA, the contractor, has taken strict control measures to safeguard against the virus and ensure the steady progress of the project.
