The delegation also visited the Maozhou River No 1 Sediment Treatment Plant. POWERCHINA's Maozhou River water environment improvement project involves river regulation, pipe network construction, a drainage pumping station, a water replenishment project, landscape upgrading and pollution sediment disposal.
The delegation learned about POWERCHINA’s advanced water environment treatment technology and how to reuse waste through recycling.
They saw that China has attached great importance to environmental protection and realized that lucid waters and lush mountains are in fact invaluable assets.
The delegation participated in a symposium organized by POWERCHINA. They watched a promotional video, learned about the company's business developments in Pakistan and received a special introduction to the Port Qasim project.
