The villagers greatly appreciated the initiative and thanked the Chinese for befriending the Lao people.
The project team's free medical consultations and local labor management are both meant to benefit the Lao people and encourage state-owned enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities.
The activity has benefited more than 600 villagers, and relieved worries among local workers about the health of their families.
In addition to the free medical consultation, the team also visited local villagers' homes to assess their living conditions. They also engaged in cordial exchanges and took group photos with students when visiting primary schools.
Since the start of the project, the project department has actively carried out its social responsibilities, built roads for local people, organized training schools, and helped the poor, receiving much praise from local governments.
The China-Laos railway project team will continue to tell the Chinese story while playing their part in carrying out the Belt and Road Initiative.
