Sinohydro Kafue Gorge Training Institute, a technical training school run by POWERCHINA's subsidiary Sinohydro Group, received the registration certificate granted by Zambia's Technical Education, Vocational, and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA) on May 6.
The certificate signifies that the school has been recognized by local government and society, and will be listed in Zambia's educational system. In addition, the qualification will help the school expand enrollment and offer guarantees to students' employment.
The school has applied for the certificate over one year ago. During the evaluation process, the local education authority inspected the school multiple times, evaluating its environment, facilities, and teachers. The authority spoke highly of the school's hardware facilities, including its training base, as well as computer and reading rooms.
