Since it first became involved in airport construction in 1981, the company has participated in the construction of more than 20 domestic and foreign airports including Fuzhou Yixu Airport, Tashkent International Airport, and Doha International Airport.
The airport projects undertaken by POWERCHINA have won nine national awards, as well as more than 20 provincial and municipal awards.
Shanghai Pudong International Airport won the Golden Cup Demonstration Award of National Municipal Engineering. It was also listed as one of the 100 classic and high-quality projects in the 60 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 2009.
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport won the "Ten National Science and Technology Achievement Award." Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport won the Silver Prize of National Quality Engineering.
This year, the company has undertaken the expansion projects of Shenzhen International Airport and Hong Kong International Airport, as well as the construction project of Guizhou's Weining Civil Airport, laying a solid foundation for the company to participate in the construction of international airports.
