Located in the southeast of Ulaanbaatar, the 20.9-kilometer Nalaikh road upgrading project is the only trunk line and transportation hub connecting Ulaanbaatar city and Nalaikh district with the eastern provinces of Mongolia.

The existing road has been used for nearly 50 years. It has only two lanes and is in serious damage. After the completion of the upgrading project, it will be changed to four lanes in one direction, which will greatly ease the congestion of the road section, facilitate the entry and exit of Ulaanbaatar passenger and cargo transportation, as well as stimulate the surrounding economic growth.

With the support of the Chinese government, POWERCHINA has been making every effort to speed up the construction of the project, which has attracted great attention from the Mongolian public.

At the unveiling ceremony, the leaders of the Mongolian government and Ulaanbaatar praised POWERCHINA as a very powerful and internationally renowned construction company.
