After Tukana Lake Wind Power's annual energy generation of 620 million kWh was injected into the national grid, it saved about 8.5 billion Kenyan shilling (82.13 million) in fuel costs for power consumers in 10 months, greatly reducing Kenya's dependence on diesel generators.

The Loiyangalani–Suswa 400 kV Transmission Line Project was signed on Jan 30, 2018 and started construction that year on Feb 10. The total construction period lasted about seven months.

After the project was completed, major media outlets including Daily Nation, Business Daily, and Xinhua Agency reported on it, highly praising POWERCHINA's advanced construction technology, which saved the government significant costs.
