The completed Bengkulu coal-fired power plant in Indonesia built by POWERCHINA, generated over 100 million kilowatt hours of power in the current year to July 2.

It was one of five thermal power projects planned by Indonesian state electricity company Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in 2014.

From the start of construction on Feb 21, 2017, POWERCHINA worked hard to overcome the impact of many unfavorable factors such as the delayed arrival of important equipment and materials.

In the wake of the global spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, the company has strengthened communications with PLN.

It improved internal management, effectively controlled production risks, reduced production costs and plant power consumption, as well as improved power generation efficiency.
