The latest unit has an total installed capacity of 132 megawatt and is located in Phongsali in northern Laos.

It adopted Toshiba Hydro Power Co's advanced water turbine design technology, giving it an excellent hydraulic performance. The cylinder-moving servomotor is used to operate the blade angle, making the unit more stable and reliable.

Its project department will continue to coordinate with the construction of all participating units, giving full play to the integration advantages of the entire industrial chain of the company, ensuring smooth progress in commissioning the remaining generating units.

The hydropower project involves the installation of seven separate water turbine generating units, being constructed in different districts along the Nam Ou River, with the combined installed capacity of 1,272 MW.
