As of Sept 23, the accumulated power generation of the Maling Water Conservancy Project in Guizhou province, which was built by POWERCHINA's Sinohydro Bureau 14 Co Ltd, has exceeded 100 million kilowatt hours, with 280 days of safe operation, providing a strong energy source guarantee for the sustained and stable development of Xingyi city in the province.

The Maling Water Control Project is located in the middle reaches of the Mabie River in Xingyi, Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture in Guizhou province. The project focuses on urban and rural water supply, irrigation, as well as the comprehensive utilization of power generation.

The underground power station has a total of four units, with a total installed capacity of 45 megawatt. The first unit was put into production on Dec 19, 2019, while the last unit was put into production on June 24, 2020.

The mechanical and electrical engineering construction and operation team is mainly composed of personnel from Sinohydro Bureau 14 Co Ltd. The team comprehensively supervised and controlled the progress, quality, and safety of the project's mechanical and electrical engineering. It also completed the standardized design of the power station, the formulation of operation and maintenance regulations, as well as safety production management systems during the production process.

The department in charge of the project has successfully completed the construction goal of all four units of the power station in the first half of the year. It has also scientifically and rationally arranged the power station's operation mode, as well as maximized the benefits of the hub on the basis of ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power station to promote high-quality economic and social development.
