At the viewing platform, the delegation learned about the layout of the construction site and the overall progress on the Amaria Hydropower Station by looking at blueprints of the station

The minister said, "I am grateful to China for its contributions to Guinea, and hope that in the future, the Chinese can build some community welfare projects for local residents."

Located downstream along the Konkoure River in Guinea, the Amaria Hydropower Station is the last stage of the four-stage hydropower development plan for the main stream of the river.

The hydropower station mainly generates electricity and adopts dam-type development. It is about 129 kilometers away from the country’s capital, Conakry.
