Brand Finance, a brand valuation consultancy in the UK, recently released its Global 500 list for 2023 – ranking the world's most valuable and strongest brands – and POWERCHINA rose 41 places from last year to 176th in the rankings.
China has 79 brands on the list, and POWERCHINA ranked 34th among the 79 Chinese brands on the list.
Every year, Brand Finance conducts research on 5,000 of the world's largest brands and releases nearly 100 reports, ranking brands in all industries and countries. The term brand value means the net economic gain a brand owner receives by licensing that brand on the open market.
In 2022, POWERCHINA ranked 100th in the Fortune Global 500, which meant it had held its position on the list for 10 consecutive years and had climbed to new highs.
This has reflected the comprehensive strength and development potential of POWERCHINA from the perspective of globalization.
Moving forwards, plans are for POWERCHINA to integrate its investment and construction operations, promote globalization and accelerate its emergence as a world-class enterprise. It will continue further taking the path of becoming stronger, better and bigger and achieving high-quality development.
