Bernard Goumou, prime minister of Guinea, recently visited a municipal road project constructed by POWERCHINA in Conakry, capital of Guinea.
Goumou expressed his gratitude to POWERCHINA for its contribution to the construction of the project and said he hoped that the project will be completed on schedule with a high standard.
He said that the Chinese people are helping create a better future for the people of Guinea, and the roads are a testament to their dedication to Guinea.
The project undertaken by POWERCHINA includes 30 kilometers of municipal roads and one overpass with a total concrete volume of 9,558 square meters in Conakry, and aims to renovate 69 kilometers of roads in the city and continuously improve the cityscape.
So far, 20 km of roads and 7,298.8 sq m of concrete construction on the overpass have been completed. The project is expected to gradually improve the traffic and economic development of Conakry.
