At the opening ceremony, Djordje Milic, State secretary of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia, gave a speech.

He expressed gratitude to POWERCHINA for completing the high-quality project and realizing its opening to traffic on schedule.

Serbia emphasizes the importance of improving and modernizing the transportation channel by constructing a road network, and the high-speed railwayand cross-border railway projects. He added that the smooth opening of the Razanj-Aleksinac road is a milestone in improving Serbia's transportation channel.

The Razanj-Aleksinac road rehabilitation project is located in the city of Nis in southern Serbia. It is an upgrade and rehabilitation project for the original E75 highway.

The road starts at Razanj Interchange and ends at Aleksinac Interchange, with a total length of 23.71 kilometers.

POWERCHINA was mainly responsible for the maintenance and reinforcement of 10 bridges, the dredging and repair of 52 culverts, the repair and new construction of eight retaining walls, subgrade and pavement engineering, drainage engineering, and traffic engineering.

It is the first completed project of POWERCHINA in Serbia, and the first European-funded and European-standard road project undertaken by POWERCHINA, demonstrating POWERCHINA's brand strength and being of great significance for the company to explore the Serbian market.
