Ding Yanzhang, chairman of POWERCHINA, makes a keynote speech at the opening ceremony for the 14th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum.
The 14th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF), jointly organized by the China International Contractors Association and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, kicked off in Macao on June 1.
The forum attracted over 700 well-known enterprises and institutions from more than 60 countries and regions and over 3,000 Chinese and foreign guests participated. Under the theme of "Green Leadership, Digital Intelligence Driven, Financial Empowerment, and Win-win Cooperation", they discussed issues related to green development, digital transformation, financial innovation, and industrial chain cooperation.
During the opening ceremony, Ding Yanzhang, chairman of POWERCHINA, made a keynote speech that 2023 marks the 10th year of the Belt and Road Initiative. POWERCHINA has carried out third-party market cooperation with many outstanding multinational enterprises, leading the establishment of an international new energy solution platform, and becoming an important force to promote the high-quality development of overseas new energy business.
The company has also integrated the green development concept into the operation and management of its main business and projects and promoted digitalization.
Looking ahead, POWERCHINA hopes to work together with friends from all walks of life at home and abroad to promote international infrastructure investment and construction.
The forum also marked the first time to hold an exhibition showcasing the international cooperation achievements in every field during the 10-year Belt and Road Initiative.
