POWERCHINA participated in a job fair and enterprise-promotion activity held by Souphanouvong University in Luang Prabang, Laos on June 14.
More than 20 local and foreign-funded companies involved in various industries such as electricity, railways, banks, tourism, and hotels, with over 500 participants, provided consulting and employment opportunities to local graduates. The event also served as a platform for enterprises to recruit talent, attracting widespread attention.
Sianuvong Savatvong, acting rector of Souphanouvong University, expressed hope that the event will familiarize students with various enterprises and help them with future employment and integration into society.
He also hopes that enterprises and units can communicate and establish cooperative relations with Souphanouvong University to cultivate more outstanding talent.
POWERCHINA mascot attracted a lot of attention at its booth. Employees explained the history of the mascot, the development of and requirements for talent, recruitment conditions, and company culture. They also shared their own job-seeking experiences with students.
POWERCHINA previously held several public open days in Laos and signed a talent cultivation agreement with Souphanouvong University, providing local university teachers and students with opportunities to visit power plants and receive professional training.
