Djordje Milic, State secretary of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia, visited and praised the Belgrade Belt Highway Project, built by POWERCHINA, on June 14.
At the construction site, he exclaimed, "It is really hard to imagine the earth-shaking changes that transportation construction in Serbia has undergone in such a short period of time. The construction speed of POWERCHINA is truly astonishing. This is of great significance to the whole of Serbia. POWERCHINA is a trustworthy and cooperative large enterprise."
He inquired in detail about the construction organization design, resource allocation, and production management in the final stage of the project, affirmed the project implementation progress, safety management, and quality management, and expressed gratitude to all participating personnel.
Liu Menglu, the project leader, also expressed his appreciation for the support from the owner and the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia, as well as the joint efforts made by Chinese and Serbian employees.
POWERCHINA will continue to improve its ability to operate and manage projects and provide better services to Serbia.
It is reported that the Belgrade Belt Highway is about to be opened soon.
