The China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, one of POWERCHINA subsidiaries, released the China Renewable Energy Development Report 2022 and collaborated with the Pumped Storage Energy Industry Branch of the China Society for Hydropower Engineering to release the Development Report of the Pumped Storage Industry 2022 in Beijing on June 28.
Xiong Minfeng, deputy director of the New Energy Department of the National Energy Administration, and Xu Pengcheng, vice president of POWERCHINA, delivered speeches at the conference.
Xiong said that the two reports detailed the current situation and trends of renewable energy and pumped storage energy development in China. The reports will serve as important references for better understanding the achievements of the renewable energy industry and accurately grasping the industry's development situation in various sectors of society.
Xu said in his speech that POWERCHINA will work to develop the water, wind, light, storage, and multi-energy complementary power system and make efforts to ensure the security and supply of electricity in China and promote clean and low-carbon development.
He also mentioned that the two reports will serve as references to help various sectors of society understand the current situation, development planning, trends, and requirements of renewable energy and pumped storage energy development in China.
The China Renewable Energy Development Report, covering the current situation, characteristics, outlook, and recommendations of China's renewable energy development, has been serving as a valuable reference for government decision-making, enterprise production and operation, and social development for the past seven years.
The Development Report of the Pumped Storage Industry 2022 pointed out that the pumped storage energy industry has entered a new development stage, serving a more diverse range of objects, and that the development of new formats has become more innovative.
The report summarized the development status and industrial level of pumped storage energy, analyzed development trends, and explained development prospects, helping guide the development of pumped storage energy.
