Ding Yanzhang, chairman of POWERCHINA, met with Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai, the Mongolian Prime Minister, in Beijing on June 29.
The two parties held talks and reached a broad consensus on implementing the heads of state of the two countries and deepening pragmatic cooperation in various key areas.
Oyun-Erdene expressed his appreciation for POWERCHINA's long-term support and assistance in the construction of energy infrastructure in Mongolia. He hopes that POWERCHINA will continue to leverage its strengths in international energy infrastructure construction, work with the Mongolian government and local enterprises, and focus on water conservancy, new energy, mining, and infrastructure to achieve mutually beneficial development.
Ding warmly welcomed Oyun-Erdene and his delegation's visit to China and thanked the Mongolian government for its long-standing care and support for POWERCHINA. He stated that the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Mongolia is continuing to strengthen, laying a solid foundation and providing broad space for bilateral cooperation.
POWERCHINA will be a trusted and reliable partner to Mongolia, make use of its professional advantages in the fields of water, energy, sand, cities, and data, participate in Mongolia's infrastructure upgrading and green low-carbon transformation, and further contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for China and Mongolia.
