Constructed by POWERCHINA, the S14 expressway is the first ring expressway in Poland. It was completed and opened to traffic on July 7, two weeks ahead of schedule.

Senior officials from Poland attended the completion ceremony and delivered speeches, stating that the S14 expressway was built to high standards.

The completion of this expressway made Lodz, the capital of the Lodz Province in Central Poland, the first city in Poland to have a complete ring expressway.

It will improve transportation for local residents and further consolidate the city's position as a logistics and transportation hub in Poland. This is of great significance to the future economic development of Lodz and other eastern cities.

At the event, the officials expressed their gratitude to all the builders of the S14 expressway for their hard work.

The expressway has a total length of approximately 16.3 kilometers and features a four-lane dual carriageway.

POWERCHINA agreed to complete the project within 35 months. After deducting the planning and design period, the company completed construction work in just 15 months, overcoming various construction issues.

The successful fulfillment of the project has enhanced the POWERCHINA brand in the Polish market, strengthened the company's market competitiveness, and improved its attractiveness to local talents and partners.

This project has also laid a solid foundation for the company's future development in highway construction in both the Polish and European Union markets.
