The premiere of the first China-Pakistan co-produced film – "Ba'tie Girl" – supported and sponsored by POWERCHINA, was held at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Aug 3.

The film was shot at the Karot Hydropower Station, the first large-scale hydropower in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. POWERCHINA was involved in the construction of the station.

The story revolves around a Chinese female employee of a Chinese company who supports a major infrastructure project in Pakistan. It tells a heartwarming tale of mutual assistance and the realization of dreams between Chinese and Pakistani girls.

The film showcases the deep friendship between the two countries and reflects the cultural exchanges and interactions between China and Pakistan. It also highlights the extensive cooperation in fields such as tourism and art.

POWERCHINA's support for the movie has been instrumental, serving as a major sponsor and providing filming locations.

The film's story also encapsulates the enterprising spirit of POWERCHINA's past employees, showcasing their hard work, which allows the local population of Pakistan, particularly aspiring young individuals, to truly experience the spirit of dedication of POWERCHINA in contributing to the development of Pakistan.
