DingYanzhang attends 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation

The 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation kicks off in Beijing.

On Oct 18, the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation kicked off in Beijing. Ding Yanzhang, chairman of POWERCHINA, attended the opening ceremony.

During the forum, POWERCHINA was invited to attend a series of activities, including the Belt and Road CEO Conference, the High-level Forum on Green Development, the Thematic Forum on Trade Connectivity, and more.

At the CEO conference, a series of project contracts was signed, including a photovoltaic project in Saudi Arabia, and a water integrated project in Argentina.

At the High-level Forum on Green Development, POWERCHINA jointly launched the "Green Development Investment and Financing Partnership" as one of the seven major achievements of the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

During the forum, POWERCHINA had meetings with heads of state, senior officials, as well as owners and partners from countries such as Kenya, Argentina, Chile, Indonesia, Angola, Zimbabwe, and Vietnam, achieving a series of fruitful results.

Before and after the forum, POWERCHINA signed various agreement contracts totaling about $11 billion.

Since the proposal was first made to jointly build the Belt and Road Initiative, POWERCHINA has fully played to its advantages in terms of its integrated industrial chain, continuously expanding its overseas business and asset scale.

All overseas energy and power projects undertaken by POWERCHINA have a total installed capacity of 190,000 MW, 38,500 MW of which is contributed by new energy power projects, benefiting a population of about 1 billion.
