The 1st "Sinohydro Cup" Football Friendly was held in El Chaco, Ecuador, during Oct 18-21. It lasted four days and saw the participation of 15 provincial and municipal government delegations, including El Chaco, Quijos, Tena.
During the match against the El Chaco team, the Sinohydro, football players displayed strong efforts on the field, while other Chinese and foreign staff cheered passionately from the sidelines. The competition was intense and thrilling, ending in a 3-3 draw. In the penalty shootout, the POWERCHINA team emerged victorious, claiming the championship.
The Mayor of El Chaco thanked Sinohydro, for its active participation in the competition and its strong support for local sporting activities. He also praised POWERCHINA for its outstanding contributions to local community development.
