The Australia Cattle Hill Wind Farm achieved cumulative power generation of 450.18 million kilowatt-hours on Oct 31, completing the annual power generation target 61 days ahead of schedule.

In 2023, despite facing challenges such as intensified competition in the liberalized electricity market and persistent increases in operating and resource costs, POWERCHINA optimized its management approaches to ensure safety and production were always under control, laying a robust foundation for the early completion of the annual power generation plan.

The Australia Cattle Hill Wind Farm is the first project invested by POWERCHINA in developed countries. Located in the Central Plateau of Tasmania, Australia, the project has a total investment of 327.8 million Australian dollars ($215.10 million), installing 48 wind turbines with a total capacity of 148.4 MW.

The project is expected to generate an average of about 440 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually over its 20-year operational period. The successful development of the project has expanded POWERCHINA's international business footprint, optimized its overseas asset structure, and accumulated valuable experience in investing, constructing, and operating projects in developed countries.
