POWERCHINA signs contracts with four companies at the 6th CIIE.
POWERCHINA signed contracts worth $237 million at the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), hitting a record high. The 6th CIIE, titled "New Era, Shared Future", kicked off in Shanghai on Nov 5 and will last for five days.
The purchasing signing ceremony was held between POWERCHINA and four well-known multinational companies, including Voith Group, Siemens Energy, Hitachi Energy and Schneider Electric, on Nov 6.
POWERCHINA's delegation, led by Xu Pengcheng, Vice President, went to Shanghai and participated in the expo on Nov 4-6, marking POWERCHINA's sixth time participating in CIIE.
During their visit to the expo, the delegation visited the exhibitions of numerous internationally renowned companies, including Siemens Energy, General Electric, Toshiba, Hitachi Energy, Caterpillar, Schneider Electric, and others.
They talked with representatives of relevant exhibitors, gaining detailed insight into products debuting in China, Asia, and the world, as well as technologies, services, and projects being showcased at the exhibition.
The 6th CIIE received delegates from 154 countries, regions, and international organizations, with over 3,400 companies participating and nearly 410,000 professional visitors registering. A record number of Fortune Global 500 companies, industry leaders, and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises participated.
