The report "Thousands of Miles with CPEC", with a preface written by Ding Yanzhang, chairman of POWERCHINA, was launched in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Nov 6.
In the preface, Ding stated that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), as a crucial and flagship project of the Belt and Road Initiative, has achieved remarkable success over the past decade. As the chairman of the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association, POWERCHINA has played a leading role. It will continue to help build a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future and exert greater efforts to promote the construction of growth corridors, people's corridors, innovation corridors, green corridors, and open corridors.
The report was compiled by the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises’ Association and is the second report released by POWERCHINA as the chairman of the association this year.
The report showcases the fruitful achievements of China-Pakistan economic and trade cooperation and vivid cases of Chinese enterprises promoting local economic and social development in Pakistan through high-quality projects, social responsibility, diplomatic visits, and exemplary figures.
Since assuming the role of chairman of the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association in January 2020, POWERCHINA has been working with association member enterprises and deepening cooperation between China and Pakistan in areas such as green development, economic zones, and the digital economy.
Representatives from Chinese and Pakistani enterprises, as well as media and other sectors, jointly witnessed the unveiling of the report.
