Photovoltaic modules on the roof of the Argentina Casa Rosada presidential palace.
The completion and handover ceremony of the 60-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation system on the roof of the Argentina Casa Rosada presidential palace, constructed by POWERCHINA, recently took place.
The project is located at Balcarce No. 50 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, in the presidential palace. Construction involved the supply, installation, and one-year operation and maintenance of a 60-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation system. All equipment and materials used in the project were sourced from China, including the photovoltaic devices and products.
Representatives of the Argentine government highly praised the project in their speeches at the completion ceremony. They said that POWERCHINA is a highly capable and experienced company, and the efficient and high-quality completion of the project serves as an excellent example of energy cooperation between China and Argentina.
After completion, all the electricity generated by the rooftop photovoltaic project will be used for the daily operations of the presidential palace, serving as a testament to the strong relations between the two countries.
It serves as a demonstration project for realizing Argentina's 2030 energy vision, showcasing the Argentine government's commitment to developing clean and low-carbon energy.
POWERCHINA sees this as an opportunity to further cultivate the local market, help improve Argentina's energy structure, and promote green economic development.
