3 POWERCHINA-funded schools all handed over in Tajikistan

POWERCHINA receives the completion letter for the three Tajik schools.

POWERCHINA recently received the contract completion letter and medals from the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan for the completion and handover of three local schools. All three schools were funded, donated and constructed by POWERCHINA.

Emomali Rahmon, president of Tajikistan, personally attended the unveiling ceremonies of the three schools and expressed his gratitude to POWERCHINA for participating in Tajikistan's public welfare project sand fulfilling its social responsibilities. He also praised the design and quality of the three schools.

The three schools, located in Bokhtar City, Levakant City, and Dangara Free Economic Zone, respectively, will provide educational opportunities for at least 2,560 Tajik children. The schools in Bokhtar and Levakant have a building area of approximately 3,500 square meters each, while the school in Dangara has a building area of around 4,700 square meters.

The schools each consist of a three-story main teaching building, a two-story annex building, and an indoor gymnasium. The schools in Bokhtar and Levakant were completed and handed over for use on Oct 27, 2021, while the school in Dangara was completed and handed over for use on Jan 4, 2024.
