Dhoho International Airport in Indonesia, which was constructed by POWERCHINA, recently conducted its first successful test take-off and landing of a real aircraft.

This signifies that all preparations for the airport have been completed, and it will soon to be put into operation.

Dhoho International Airport is located in the Kediri region of East Java, Indonesia, just 120 kilometers away from Surabaya, the second-largest city in Indonesia. This international airport will effectively alleviate the traffic pressure in Surabaya and bring significant transportation convenience to the surrounding areas.

With a runway length of 3,300 meters and a width of 45 meters, the airport has a large capacity and can accommodate wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 777 and Airbus A330. In the initial phase of operation, it will have an estimated annual throughput of 1.5 million passengers, which will inject new momentum into the local economy.

POWERCHINA is mainly responsible for the design and construction of the airport's runway and retaining wall foundation treatment. The company's excellent performance in the localized management and international standards during the project's construction has promoted its good reputation in the Indonesian market, leading to the successful acquisition of subsequent infrastructure projects.
