Wang Xiaojun, vice-president of POWERCHINA, met with Julius Maada Bio, president of Sierra Leone, while he was on a state visit to China, on March 1.
Wang briefed President Bio on POWERCHINA's overall operation as well as its development in the Sierra Leone market. He also expressed his gratitude to the Sierra Leone government for its continuous support and assistance to POWERCHINA's operations and development in Sierra Leone.
Wang also stated his expectations of more successful collaborations with the Sierra Leone government. POWERCHINA is committed to contributing to the development of the country's infrastructure and power supply.
President Bio remarked that he had visited the rural road construction project undertaken by POWERCHINA locally, which left a deep impression on him.
He welcomed POWERCHINA to undertake more high-quality projects in the fields of electricity and infrastructure in Sierra Leone. The Sierra Leone government will continue to support POWERCHINA's business operations in the country.
