POWERCHINA signed a contract with the Hong Kong Highways Department on April 17 to help improve the Tsuen Tsing Interchange. This marked POWERCHINA's first highway project in Hong Kong.
The Tsuen Tsing Interchange Improvement Project is located in the Tsuen Wan District of Hong Kong. It includes the construction of a new left-turn lane, a single-line viaduct and connecting roads, and a connecting road for the downlink access, as well as the widening of the eastbound lanes and roundabout at Tsuen Tsing Interchange, intersection improvements, and associated works related to drainage, public lighting, and environmental beautification. It will play a crucial role in improving traffic conditions at the Tsuen Tsing Interchange.
Since entering the Hong Kong engineering contracting market in 2019, POWERCHINA has successfully completed the Third Runway Project at Hong Kong International Airport, and is currently working on several other major infrastructure projects.
