The British Safety Council recently announced the winners of the 2024 International Safety Award (ISA), with the Monsoon 600-megawatt Wind Project in Laos built by POWERCHINA among the recipients.
The ISA is one of the most authoritative and influential awards in the realm of international health and safety and is overseen by the British Safety Council. The award aims to recognize and motivate organizations worldwide that contribute to occupational health, safety, and welfare.
During the construction, POWERCHINA adhered to a safety-first management principle, incorporated advanced safety management experiences from both domestic and international sources, and established a standardized safety management system. The project is already more than halfway complete, with the foundation-pouring for 117 wind turbines having been completed and 64 turbines having been installed so far.
