The Saraorci Photovoltaic Project, which is being built by POWERCHINA in Serbia, was recently successfully connected to the grid.

Located about 80 kilometers from Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, this photovoltaic power plant is currently the country's largest of its kind under construction and the country's first large-scale ground photovoltaic power plant built by a Chinese enterprise. The project uses major equipment such as modules, inverters, and box transformers from Chinese brands.

During construction on the project, a fully localized workforce was employed, creating numerous jobs for people in the surrounding communities, with an average of nearly 200 local residents participating in the construction daily during peak periods.

The power plant will provide approximately 16 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 16,000 metric tons. It will be sufficient to supply about 2,500 households, further enhancing Serbia's clean energy utilization and promoting sustainable development.
