Employees celebrate the grid-connection of TJS 100 MW Ground Mounted Solar PV Farm Project.

The 100 Megawatts Ground Mounted Solar PV Farm Project at the Karawang Industrial Park in Indonesia, constructed by POWERCHINA, was successfully connected to the grid on July 8. The project set a new record for overseas solar projects by achieving grid connection in just five months, marking a significant step toward its completion and handover.

The 100 MW solar project covers five plots with 24 power generation units, spanning approximately 80 hectares. With a total installed capacity of 100.78 MW, it will be Indonesia's largest ground mounted solar power station. POWERCHINA is responsible for the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the project.

During construction, the project created around 1,000 local jobs, significantly contributing to local economic growth and improving community well-being. It has earned high praise from all levels of government.

The plant is expected to generate over 146 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 114,700 metric tons and standard coal consumption by about 58,400 tons.
