Aleksandar Vucic, president of Serbia, visits the construction sites of the projects being built by POWERCHINA in Belgrade.
Aleksandar Vucic, president of Serbia, visited the construction sites of the National Sports Center peripheral infrastructure project and the Expo Exhibition Center land leveling project, all being built in Serbia, on July 11.
He expressed his appreciation for the Chinese and Serbian construction workers diligently working despite the heat, praising them for making history.
Vucic engaged warmly with the workers, inquiring about the progress being made on the projects and showing concern for their working conditions. He remarked that the Expo Exhibition Center and National Sports Center projects are a true blessing, with the area set to become a new hub in Belgrade. Although much work remains to be done, he was pleased to see the construction teams working with enthusiasm and is confident that the projects will be completed on schedule.
The National Sports Center project is one of Serbia's key livelihood projects and plays an important role in the country's plan to expand the development space of its capital, Belgrade, and accelerate its transition into a multi-modal transportation era.
The Expo Exhibition Center will become one of the largest construction projects in the Balkans, bringing significant opportunities and employment to both Belgrade and Serbia.
Currently, POWERCHINA has seven projects under construction in Serbia, including metro systems and housing developments. During construction, POWERCHINA not only introduced new equipment and technology to the area, incorporating advanced management concepts, but also focused on training local skilled talents.
