The East West residential compounds project, built by POWERCHINA, recently passed inspection and received their PCD certificates from the client, marking the successful completion of the project.
The six compounds cover a total area of 770,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 71,600 sq m, including 22 apartment buildings and various community facilities such as a community center. The six compounds will accommodate a total of 1,748 residents, providing a high-quality living environment for the employees of Saudi Aramco.
The high quality of the project showcases the innovative capabilities of POWERCHINA. The original design, which used foreign gas power generation, was optimized to use China-made photovoltaic energy storage, receiving full approval from the client. Additionally, the project effectively mitigated the impact of rising raw material costs during the pandemic. The progress, quality, and safety of the project were all highly praised by the client and other stakeholders.
