Since the power station began operating, the Barisal Power Company has sought effective ways to improve quality and efficiency by strengthening control over the quality of operations and maintenance. The company has also established a coordination mechanism for business operations, including power generation planning, fuel trading and storage, electricity billing and financial management.
Since its commissioning, the project has not only provided stable and reliable green electricity to southern Bangladesh but also made significant contributions to local economic and social development and improvements in living standards.
